After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from Kampala or Entebbe and set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The scenic journey takes you through the lush Ugandan countryside with stopovers at the Equator for photos and in Mbarara town for lunch. Continue through rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages until you reach the park. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and enjoy the evening at leisure, surrounded by the park’s serene landscapes. Dinner and overnight stay will prepare you for the wildlife encounters awaiting the next day.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Kasenyi plains, where you’ll encounter elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, lions, and possibly elusive leopards. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Trekking through the dense forest can take between two and seven hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat watching their behaviors, interactions, and even catching eye contact. It’s a deeply moving experience.
